Brigham's Fudge Sauce - Lorie Fellner
Ingredients
• 1 stick butter or margarine
• 5 oz Baker's chocolate
• 1 lb or 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
• Melt butter, add chocolate, stir together, cooking over medium heat
• Gradually add sugar & cook 8 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens
• Remove pan from heat
• Add vanilla and cool
• Be sure to reheat to use - take the time, but can be used cold
• Be careful, this can be addictive!


Caramel Corn - Paul Kautza
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 Tbsp light corn syrup
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 4 Tbsp oil (for popcorn)
• 1/2 cup popcorn

Instructions
• Make popcorn
• Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt in pan
• Heat & mix constantly until butter is melted and sugar dissovled
• Continue cooking for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally
• Add soda & stir until evenly coated, light & foamy
• Add popcorn and stir
• Place on waxed paper
Chocolate Sauce for Ice Cream

Ingredients
• 1 cup sugar
• 2/3 cup milk
• 1 Tbsp cocoa
• 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
• Boil this until syrupy
Fairy Food - Irene Kriha
Ingredients
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup Karo dark syrup (dark corn syrup)
• 1 Tbsp vinegar dark
• 1 Tbsp baking soda, rounded
• Chocolate
Instructions
• Cook sugar, corn syrup, and vinegar together until real bubbly
• [heat to] Hard crack stage [on candy thermometer]
• Remove from heat
• Add baking soda - sprinkle on top and fold in 9"x13" buttered pan - Carefully, don't scrape kettle, just let it flow in. Don't move pan until cool
• Break up & cover with chocolate
• Drop on wax paper


Gelatin Candy - Jane Jansen
Ingredients
• 4 cups sugar
• 4 packages gelatin
• Red and green food coloring

Instructions
• Boil sugar in 1 1/2 cups water
• Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup cold water
• Combine sugar and gelatin mixtures, and slowly boil for 15 minutes
• Divide into two parts
• Add green color & flavoring to one part, and red to the other
• Let stand 12 hours, then turn onto sugared board and cut into squares
